In color, this Cava Brut Rosat is bright and deep pink with a violet sparkle. In the aroma we find red berries. An intensity with notes of balsamic and ripe forest fruits. It tastes light, fresh with fruity notes. The finish is pleasant and dry and persistent.
The Oriol Rossell estate is located in a protected area of the Alt Penedés. The origins of the domain date back to the end of the 16th century. The name Oriol Rosell refers to the last heir and current owner of the estate. From generation to generation this business has been passed down with great care for the vineyards and winemaking. Such as cultivation, slow and well-controlled fermentation and finding the right grape composition. The company has limited production and, unlike many of its peers, makes only Cava. All profits are reinvested in the company. New fermentation and storage facilities were recently purchased. Here, turning the bottles is still done the old-fashioned way by hand. The evolution of these top wines is thus followed daily. Cava Oriol Rosell is therefore our unknown silent force. Recently Oriol also has the date of dégorgement on the back label.
