    Rayuelo Rosalia Molina Manchuelo Spain

Rosalia Molina is the great woman behind this project. Bodegas AltoLandon is located in the center of 3 provinces: Valencia, Cueca and Teruel at 1080 meters altitude, making it the highest located winery in Spain. The soil structure of the vineyard consists mainly of sand. All vineyards fall within the protected designation of origin Manchuela. The fruit undergoes a large temperature difference between day and night. Especially the cool nights give the fruit a nice, fresh acidity. After the fruit is picked it goes to the modern equipped bodega. No industrial yeast is used but only those naturally occurring on the grape. The Rayuelo is made 100% from the Bobal grape and aged in oak for a period of 8 months. The dark-colored wine displays a Mediterranean expression with striking fruit such as plums and black cherries. The wood is subtly present in the background making it a pleasantly juicy and fruity glass of wine with something of cedar and clove in the background.

Serve the wine at 18 degrees Celsius with beef, lamb, game or fish from the grill, sweetbreads, Bresse chicken or a piece of Spanish sheep's cheese.
