    Rioja Rosado has a bright pale pink color.On the nose, it has intense aromas of red fruit and creamy banana, as well as with some floral notes. On the palate, it is a pleasant and silky wine with great balance and nice acidity, at the same time greedy and fresh.
    Rioja Rosado is made from garnacha and viura, from old vineyards with low production, located on the poor land of the terraces of the Ebro in the area of San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Rioja). The grapes are picked by hand throughout the month of October. From receipt of the grapes in the cellar, they work by gravity. That means no pumps are used, which is better for the grapes and ultimately the wine.Maceration lasts between 24 and 48 hours at low temperatures, around 10 ° C. Then the devatting process is carried out, naturally extracting a clear and rosé-colored must that ferments for 20 days between 10-12 ° C.

      Located in the historic village of San Vincente de la Sonsierra, Bodega López de Haro rises above a "sea of vineyards" flanked by the Ebro and Sierra de Toloño rivers. The bodega is excavated in its entirety on the side of a mountain. The selection of wines is named after Don Diego López de Haro, founder of the city of Bilbao. Hacienda López de Haro is a series of wines that combines the simplicity and elegance of great classics with current consumer tastes. The terroir in this region is of calcareous clay. This results in a wine with refined freshness and a pleasing length and finish.

      All the wines at Bodega Hacienda López de Haro have something in common: grapes from the best wine regions of the D.O. Rioja, the dedication with which the winemakers work the vineyard and the affection the winemakers devote to the preparation of each wine. From receiving the grapes at the bodega, they work only with gravity for moving the wine. That means no use of pumps, which is better for the grapes and ultimately better for the wine.
