In this wine, pure fruit notes come together with notes of flowers and fresh herbs such as iris flower, ripe pear and citrus with a hint of flint. On the palate, it has creamy notes of fresh butter and brioche.
The altesse grapes (typical Savoy grape variety) come from a clay-limestone soil with stony rubble slopes from the Alps. The vineyard is located on a sunny hillside facing southeast between Chambéry and Albertville. The wine matures for 6 months on its fine lees to make a soft creamy wine.
*Without added sulfite.
