Brigaldara Valpolicella 2022 - Half 0.375L

Valpolicella has a bright ruby red color. In the nose, it haslively aromas of red currant, blackberry and violets. Quite juicy on the palate, with floral red berry aromas and crisp precision through a nice harmonious acidity. Very well balanced wine, pure and bright.
Valpolicella is derived from the vinification of fresh grapes, mainly corvina and corvinone. The harvest period is very important for this wine, because of the delicacy of its aromas and the fragile balance in which acidity plays a fundamental role. This Valpolicella is a very drinkable wine that expresses the traditional aromas of the Marcellise Valley, which range from cherries to more or less pronounced spicy notes. The perfect balance is achieved with a short refinement in stainless steel that highlights the sensory particularities of the wine.
  • About Brigaldara

A thousand years of history, 120 hectares of land - 47 of which are planted with vines - divided between three different areas of Verona: Valpolicella Classico, Valpantena and Eastern Valpolicella. The Cesari family has owned the villa and surrounding land, planted with vines, olive trees, orchards and grain, among other things, since 1928.

According to Brigaldara, vineyard management is central. Here, most of the work is done manually by a team of agronomists, who work shoulder to shoulder with oenologists and management. Every decision is made taking into account the importance of preserving biodiversity and respecting the vegetative-productive balance of each ecosystem. Other important elements are the ripening process of the grapes and the individual needs of each vineyard. Rapid interventions, precise operations and a drastic reduction of treatments in the vineyard guarantee a long-term sustainable vision for the vineyards. Incidentally, pesticides and synthetic products are banned in this vineyard in favor of responsible use of sulfur, copper and pelleted manure.

Stefano Cesari and his wife Maria Gilla are assisted by their sons: Lamberto and Antonio, ensuring the future of this excellent winery. Approved by Equilitas 3E sustainability label.
