Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is located in the center of the Muscadet area, in the appellation Sèvre & Maine, 20 km from Nantes and 10 km from Clisson. It is a small, attractive Italian-style town, on the Sèvre Nantaise River. This estate has been family owned for more than 150 years.
Jean-Jacques, Rémi Bonnet and Vincent Pineau are at the helm of Domaine Bonnet-Huteau. Their goal is to develop a whole palette of flavors so that their Muscadet wines express the best quality and minerality for each terroir - gneiss, micaschist, amphibolite and granite. The 'Les Gautronnières' plot is slightly higher but still influenced by the Goulaine marsh which lies along the Gabbro massif (volcanic rock). These 'green' rocks offer more fertile soils, giving great minerality and distinct character to the wine.
