Bonnet-Huteau Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie 'Les Gautronieres' Bio 2021

This Muscadet is harvested from a soil of green stones and clay soil. The color of the wine is light goldIn the nose, it is fresh and elegant with notes of citrus and white flowers. The mouth is invigorating and very pleasant, with wonderful aromatic volume for a Muscadet. There is a beginning, middle and end in this wine. Very pure with a touch of saltiness. Delicious to drink with oysters and other seafood, of course, but it also does very well with an aioli or snails.
  • About Bonnet-Huteau

Domaine Bonnet-Huteau is located in the center of the Muscadet area, in the appellation Sèvre & Maine, 20 km from Nantes and 10 km from Clisson. It is a small, attractive Italian-style town, on the Sèvre Nantaise River. This estate has been family owned for more than 150 years.

Jean-Jacques, Rémi Bonnet and Vincent Pineau are at the helm of Domaine Bonnet-Huteau. Their goal is to develop a whole palette of flavors so that their Muscadet wines express the best quality and minerality for each terroir - gneiss, micaschist, amphibolite and granite. The 'Les Gautronnières' plot is slightly higher but still influenced by the Goulaine marsh which lies along the Gabbro massif (volcanic rock). These 'green' rocks offer more fertile soils, giving great minerality and distinct character to the wine.
