Bodegas Iglesias PAR - 0.5L

Iglesias PAR is made by leaving a sweet fragrant wine, in contact with the sun-dried peel of the bitter orange from the Doñana region. This wine thus remains in the barrels of the cellars of Bodegas Iglesias for a minimum of 8 years, giving the wine the aromas of the fruit.
The wine has a mahogany color, with an orange hue. On the nose, the wine is intense and complex. A pure aroma, full of fruit, especially bitter orange. The taste is rich, soft and at the same time ripe in the mouth, woody with a strong orange finish.
  • About Bodegas Iglesias

An 18th century monastery houses Bodegas Iglesias, where wine has been made since that time. One of the rooms (with vaulted ceilings) was used for aging oloroso wines, the mass wine. The Iglesias family has been at the base of this bodega for more than 3 generations. The same standards, values and love for wine are still central here. In recent years, they did take a rigorous approach to modernizing the bodega, its packaging and the process of wine making.

The bodega expanded its space to a capacity of more than one million liters after a restoration. Of course, this restoration and expansion was done with respect for the historic values of the ancient monastery. Important parts of it remain preserved and cherished, such as the granary that now serves as a sacristy. Also, in recent years, the doors have been opened to receive the many interested parties, who not only want to taste, but also learn and understand the culture and history behind these wines. One mainly makes fortified wines with zalema as the main grape.
