Bodegas Altolandon is located in Landete, Cuenca between three provinces: Valencia, Cuenca and Teruel, at an altitude of 1100 meters, measured from the highest point. The estate covers a total of 120 hectares and in the middle of it is the winery. Altolandon's philosophy is to make quality wines from quality grapes. The passionate Rosalia Molina is the driving force behind Altolandon.
Everything about the vineyard is handled with the utmost care. The wine comes from the grape, but the altitude where they grow and the terroir it comes from are essential to the end result. The climatic conditions: high altitude and many hours of sunshine, ensure that during the last months of the grape's development a slow and balanced ripening occurs. The wines from these grapes offer a variety of color, depth and breadth of flavors and great complexity on the palate. The higher acidity and proportion of tannins present make them well suited for barrel aging. Irreptible ages 4 months in wood and the Rayuelo 8 months.
