Wonderful flavor and aroma "density"...
In the nose notes of mirabelle (plums) and dried apricot;
Intensely dry on the palate with powerful minerality and lively acidity; peach and citrus, notes of white pepper, earthy.

The St Jost is midway between the schmelz vd Rheingau and the aromatic power of the Saar; Moist stone and ripe yellow apple;

The slate dominates the wine and gives a filigree minerality, bright precision in the fruitiness with seductive "schmelz"

Serve this riesling an sich or with mineral fish dishes, truffle dishes celeriac...lots !!!
