About MITOS

The history of the winery dates back to 1957, when several villages in the Requena region, known for its rich terroir and long winemaking tradition, came together to establish a winery to become a national reference. Thus was born the San Miguel del Campo cooperative, with many vineyards in the region that would allow all of Spain to enjoy its excellent wines.

In 2011, after 54 years of history, the cellar underwent a process of reconstruction and modernization. Thus, since the end of 2012, the new Bodegas Mitos has been operational, the perfect collaboration between the good work of the old Bodega San Miguel and the innovation and modernity of the current wine cellar. With new and one of the largest facilities in the region, the first wines of the new brand MITOS are produced. The latest evolution of the company is completed by the launch of a range of organic wines with more than excellent value for money.
