One of Domaine Singla's top cuvées is cuvée Bressol. Made from mainly Grenache and sourced from old vines. The wine fills the mouth and is characterized by fresh notes of licorice, spices and cherries. It is powerful and complex with a lingering finish of silky tannins with a hint of brushwood.
The parcels, totaling 50 acres, are housed in the midst of rocks, brushwood and pine forests and follow the natural physiognomy of the site: hills, steep slopes and plains. Laurent de Besombes Singla found the way to reveal the amazing potential of this terroir. True to the grapes that love the sun of Roussillon, he creates some authentic wines, fine, elegant, full of earth are produced.
Since he took back the family farm, Laurent de Besombes isolated the best tenements, 50 hectares in total that bear the name Domaine Singla. He replaced herbicide, fertilizer and other synthetic products with natural materials such as horsehair, comfrey, lime, sulfur, nettle, fennel... He revitalized the plots and worked through the seasons. Since in the wastelands, hedges and surrounding undergrowth, the ecosystem took back its rights. The Domaine has been certified in organic farming since 2006.
