The Château Mignan is located in Minervois in southern France. Minervois is a wine region in Languedoc-Roussillon (Mediterranean region of France) between the cities of Narbonne and Carcassonne. Owner Christian Mignard produces his wines from grapes grown on clay and limestone in a 20 hectare vineyard.
Christian comes from a winemaker family and is involved in producing the best wines for other wine companies. Château Mignan is his own creation, of which he is very proud. A relatively young wine company that was founded in 2006. The part "La Livinière" of his company is considered the most typical and best terroir of the Minervois.

The white grapes Grenache Blanc, Roussanne Marsanne and Vermentino are harvested overnight, pressed directly and vinified at low temperature (14 ° C), followed by aging "sur lie fine" with batonnage. Wine with splendor! Looks a bit like a white BANDOL. Exotic expressive generous / rich and complex with clear notes of white and yellow flowers, citrus and herbs, subtle notes of acacia honey and butter and hawthorn
