Description
Bosco Satrano has a beautiful bright yellow color with soft green shimmers. A wine with surprisingly fine and elegant aromas played on a subtle but persistent note of freshly cut grass, nettle, green apple and juniper berries. In the background, a strong mineral impact of chalk and wet stones makes this wine complex and persistent. Elegant and rich at the same time. Great dynamics between soft alcoholic sensations and a lively acidity. The finish is aromatic and long. Recommended pairings, perfect with oysters, raw and / or smoked fish carpaccio, saffron shrimp, stuffed pasta with olive oil and vegetables, spaghetti with sea urchin, sea bass in hazelnut crust and smoked swordfish carbonara.

The Fiano grapes used to produce this wine come from a vineyard that overlooks Villa Raiano, in the municipality of San Michele di Serino in the province of Avellino in Contrada Bosco Satrano. 4,400 vines planted in 2009 are grown according to the principles of organic farming trained on guyot on calcareous clay soils 510 meters above sea level. A northwestern vineyard overlooking Monte Partenio, gives us grapes of high quality and uniqueness every year. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks where it also ages for 12 months before resting in the bottle for 12 months.

The modern basement built in 2009 is partly underground. The grapes enter at the top and are pressed there. Then they go one floor lower for the fermentation. Eventually they come deep underground in the bottling plant. This way we never have to pump the wine by machine. And that ensures real quality gains. ”
